Brian Pine, Environmental Compliance Services Program Manager from ATC’s Pittsburgh, PA office, will be a presenter at the National Institute for Storage Tank Management’s (NISTM) 20th Annual International Aboveground Storage Tank Conference and Trade Show in Orlando, FL on March 28, 2018. Approximately 1,800 attendees are expected to attend the conference.
Brian’s presentation is titled “Storage Tank Risk Management Solutions – Leak Prevention and Tank Integrity Inspections for Aboveground Storage Tanks.” He will illustrate what an ideal storage tank/spill prevention system looks like, review the most probable cause of a spill, and discuss the anatomy of a spill response. Brian will also give an overview of applicable regulations and will review Pennsylvania inspection/violation statistics. He will round out his presentation with case studies of specific events.
Brian has 27 years of experience across multiple industries including retail construction and environmental services and consulting. He is a certified STI SP001 and State of Pennsylvania Certified Manufactured Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector. In his current position, Brian provides and coordinates strategic technical consulting to regional and national petroleum distributors and transportation companies, with an emphasis on site assessment and remediation, spill prevention planning, underground and aboveground storage tank inspection, and overall compliance services.
